I'm back!

And I'm married!!!  This past month I have been non existent on the blog but very focused on the wedding.  All that focus paid off, the wedding weekend was everything we hoped for and we were able to fully enjoy it!  So after a month long hiatus, a wonderful wedding, and a week vacation, I am ready to blog my heart out!  We have a lot of updates planned for the house and I'll be writing about those soon.  But first, I wanted to share some of the wedding details that kept us busy this past month!

We had worked to put together welcome bags for our guests staying at the hotel - it contained an agenda, tickets to a baseball game, and lots of baseball themed snacks!

The wedding weekend started on Friday night with our rehearsal dinner - the weather was perfect for an outdoor wedding and we are lucky it carried through the whole weekend!

Since a lot of our guests traveled in, we had them all join us for dinner after the rehearsal.  The food was great and the venue was beautiful!

Saturday morning, we held an open house for family!  Some thought we were crazy ;) but we wanted to get everyone together and show the new place!  We kept it easy with coffee, fruit, and breakfast bread!  It was nice to spend some more time with my new in-laws!

Saturday night was the baseball game and Sunday was the big day! The whole day was wonderful!!!  Some of the details:  Rob and I built this board to hold the escort cards.  We took plywood and wrapped it with linen - we secured it in place with duct tape .  We then measured how the cards would lay out and used left over ribbon to wrap every 7 inches.  Then we went to JoAnne's to purchase cute paper clips that would hold cards to the ribbon.  My friend Angela at Invite More Designs did all of our stationary.

Angela also did our table numbers.  On the bottom of each number was a thank you note - we took this opportunity to make a donation for each guest to the North American Dutch Shepherd Rescue.

Through all the events and details, it was such an amazing weekend and I married my best friend.  So happy to finally be husband and wife, and officially Mrs. DiLeo.

A Great weekend!  More updates to Come!
