First off, we have finally passed inspections and started insulation! We have an insulation inspection on Monday and then will start DRYWALL - yesssss! It is so great to drive out to the house and see some progress. When we went out this weekend, they were wrapping up insulation and just to see someone working in our house put a smile on my face. We will have a drywall meeting this week and get a closing date during that meeting!

On top of that, this week was thanksgiving and I LOVE the holidays! My "about me" section says I would love to be party planning - and that definitely comes out during the holidays. I love decorating, cooking, and spending some cheerful time with my family! Since, we are keeping our holiday decorations packed up this year, I'll be trying out some new recipes that will hopefully be tasty and enjoyed by my friends and family. For thanksgiving, I made a new stuffing recipe I found on Martha Stewart - bacon, leek, & cornbread stuffing...I added some cranberries. yum! Turned out to be a hit, so I will be using the recipe again! We also celebrate 3 birthdays over our thanksgiving dinner so I decided to order some thanksgiving cake from Kittie's Cakes:
Yummy Stuffing - new favorite recipe ~ Sweet potato cake & toasted marshmallow frosting!
