House update

We are having a ton of ups an downs with our house this week.  This past week, we had electric installed in our house and had inspections scheduled.  We were so excited, unfortunately one of those inspections did not pass and now our PM is nervous about the house finishing by the 23rd.  We have to go back through inspections on Monday, then insulation on Tuesday, and hopefully the insulation inspection will be completed on Wednesday.  Then drywall.  Our sales rep is telling us we'll have a confirmed close date by the first week of December.  That being said, our notice has already been put in and we need to be out of our apartment by the 23rd, so we have no place to live if we don't hit that date.  We are trying to look at the bright side because if they don't hit it, they will take care of moving our belongings in and out of storage and take care of a hotel.  I really do not want to spend Christmas in a hotel and would be nervous about Fudge being in a hotel room while we are at work.  But, I'll take the movers!  and I guess if it comes to that point, we'll figure it out.  The news was really disappointing to hear this week, we were so hopeful and felt we would still make it in to the house to celebrate Christmas.  I was really upset and just felt defeated by this whole process.  Luckily I have Rob here to remind me to keep looking at the positives and that this will all work out.

 I mean, how could that face not cheer you up? 

So, we are continuing to pack and get ready for the holidays.  We'll keep you posted on how things work out with the house in the next few weeks!
