We have had so much back and forth on the house, to actually have a closing date and know that Ryan Homes is takng care of us put our minds at ease. I don't think we realized how stressed out we were and Friday night we were able to take a deep breath and relax. While Rob's "relaxing" Friday night consisted of video games, I was able to cook some Christmas cookies! I know Rob is a big fan of peppermint and I came across an amazing recipe for Brownie peppermint cookies here. They turned out pretty good and are a new favorite I'll definitely want to make again!
We had a lazy Saturday afternoon and then went to my Maid of honor, Rachel's, Christmas party on Saturday evening.
On Sunday, we went out to the house and were excited to see the siding started and drywall up. It was cool to actually see the layout of the rooms, its been framing for so long so it was hard to see how the rooms would look. Our PM called us and let us know that they would start priming the walls at the end of this week, so it is definitely moving along! I took a ton of pics of the house but since it's just drywall, they all look pretty much the same. I won't bore you with all of them but here are a couple of pics from the house.

I was hoping to do some more packing but I think we just needed some downtime. We wrapped up the weekend with some more relaxing! Hope everyone has a great week out there!
