Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend! We thought we'd start ours off by visiting the house. Yes, even though we know the house is behind, we wanted to go see it anyways. Big Mistake! Nothing has been touched at all! I know we are waiting on the electric, but its so frustrating to see that nothing has been signed off on since 9/30. 14 days! *Sigh* Needless to say, we are feeling a little stagnant right now. I'm going to keep focusing on the fun stuff...like getting decor for the house. I know its a little early to worry about those small things but so fun! We went ahead and got bedding for the new bed, it's still sitting on the floor in the guest room. Rob thinks we should move it into our room now instead of waiting to use it in the new house, which I would love to do! So we went ahead and started buying sheets. I had to do some digging but found the softest sheets and pillowcases at Marshall's for such an amazing price! We also got a 20% off coupon for West Elm so bought a duvet cover that I love (and that Rob agreed was not too girly)! I think it will be perfect for creating a cozy bedroom! I just need to find a duvet...Marshall's had a few but they were mostly down and with my allergies, I need the fake stuff :) I'm going to check out Target to see if they have some good deals. As we wait for this house to wrap up, we'll at least have some pretty new sheets!
